In Medellín the bikes of the vespisti are all colorful, in Bogotá they like dark colors.

Die Vespa bunkerten wir bei Maryzabell, meine meisten Klamotten beim Andrés.

Und wir starteten unseren Rucksacktrip, weil für zwei mit Gepäck zu wenig Platz und zu wenig PS vorhanden sind...

My Vespa we parked at Mayzabells place, the rest of my luggages I did not need we stored at Andrés place and started our backpacktrip because there is not enough space and horsepower left for two of us...

Und die Fleißigen waren natürlich auch superfreundlich und wollten umbedingt aufs Foto

Und getrocknet, das wird woanders (Guatemala) auch via Sonne gemacht, hier ist es aber zu feucht dafür...

In some spots (Guatemala) they dry the coffeebeans by the sun, but here it is to wet...

Durch die kalte Umgebung und die Nöhe zum Äquator wächst die Kirsche langsam und ist dadurch fester und hat das weltweit beste Aroma, laut den Kolumbianern und laut mir ;-)

Allerdings ist es schwer hier im Land die 1A Ware zu bekommen, die geht fast komplett in den Export...

The climate is cold and this area is close to the equator, this is the reason why the bean are growing slow and they are harder in the end. Hard beans means the best taste of the world, the colombiens said, and me aswell ;-)

But you almost cant find 1A beans here almost every bean is for the export, just the secand and third choise stays in colombia. What a shame.

Cartagena hatte seinerzeit den größten Handelshafen im Norden von Südamerika und wurd "natürlich" mehmals von Piraten überfallen...

Cartagena had the biggest Port in north of southamerica and got robbed a couple of times from pirates..

Die Festung liegt auf einem Berg in der "alten Stadt" und spielt mit der moderne, weil die Stadt mittlerweise von Hochhäusern übermannt wurde

The fortress is on a hill in the "historical town" and is playing with the modern part of Cartagena were are plenty of skycrapers

Die Farben des Landes, auch die Flagge selbst ist i Kolumbien allgegenwärtig!

Wir blieben sehr kurz in der touristischen Gegend und fuhren auch nicht in den Norden entlag dem "Gringo Trail" dem "Amerikaner Weg" wie er halb lachend und halb weinend von den Kolumbianern genannt wird.

We left at the next morning, not in the north because ist is clled "gringo trail" and there are plenty of tourists

Wir fuhren in den Süden nach Tolú einem Strandort der nicht wirklich schön dafür aber um so ruhiger war. Bis vor 5 Jaheren war hier kein einziger Tourist weil das heir absolutes Guirilla-gebiet war.

We went in the south to Tolú a small untouristic village at the sea. Not pretty but quiet. Until five years ago here havent been travelers becaause it was absolutly guirilla-area 

Unser Camp, in der Nacht bauten wir das Zelt um und schliefen nur im Innenzelt, weil es auch hier extrem heiß war und kaum ein Lüftchen wehte...

At the night we rebuilt our tent and moved in the innertent, it was just to hot and the wind was no blowing

Tagsüber zockten wir im Schatten...

At daytime we were playing in the shad...

Hundearlarm, was können so kleine Scheißer nerven...

Shoe-alarm, this small basterd was bothering us all the time...

Und endlich hatte ich Zeit die Kolumbienfahne auf mein Backpack zu nähen...

In einem "Plüschbus" fuhren wir zum Flughafen

Der Grund für das behängen der Fenster ist natürlich die drückende Sonne...

The reason  for covering the screen are the sunrays, for sure...

Ohne Wasser gehts nicht...

Es gibt nur ein Reisefahrzeug was wirkich rockt! Bei Bussen, Taxis und Flugzeugen schaut man ja nur zu. Vespareisen ist das ware Reisen!

There is just one awesome vehicle! In Buses, taxis and aeroplanes you are just a passiv part of traveling. Vespatraveling is traveling pure!

Also nochmal das Gepäck minimieren, Zelt, Kocher, Matte und Schlafsack auch noch aussortieren, einmal tanken und los gings...

Minimizing the luggages again, campgear we left in Bogotá, filles up the tank and jumpt on the Vespa...

Zipaquira ist nicht häßlich aber auch nix besonderes...

Zipaquira isn´t ugly but not a wonder aswell...

Wie Bogota liegt es auf 2700m, also angenehm kühl, nicht mehr so heiß wie an der Küste.

Tha altitude is 2700m / 8900ft is almost the same like Bogota that means it wasn that hot like the coast.

2700m heißt auch Vergaserdüsenwechsel vom 96 auf 94, falls es irgendwen interessiert...

8900ft means I changes the jets in the caburator, 96 at sealevel, 94 here if somebody is interested in that details...

Zum Glück auch nicht von Touristen überrannt...

Es war eins der größten Salzaabbaugebiete in Südamerika

It was one of the biggest salt mining areas in south of colombia

Bunt beleuchtet stiefeln wir in den ausgedienten Stollen

Die Stollen gingen weitaus tiefer rein, sind aber noch verdammt tief...

Angekommen 800m unter der Erde wurde der Stollen zur Kathedrale umfunktioniert, natürlich pilgern die Kolumbianer zu Gottesdiensten hier hin.

Nochmal eine schönes Kolonialdorf, allerding ist das Kopfsteinpflaster mit der Vespa kaum befahrbar.

Und dann war unsere gemeinsame Zeit auch schon vorbei und es ging auf die letzte Etappe. Zum Flughafen.
