Ab in die Wüste / Lets go in the desert
Bevor es wieder in die einsame Wüste geht, füllte ich die Wasserreserven auf.

Das Coca-Cola Schild lügt Erfrischung herbei, denn es wird für 200km keine Zivilisation kommen.

Mittlerweile war ich mitten drin, 100km in jede Richtung nur Sand. Wirklich schnell fuhr ich nicht. Plötzlich klemmte der Kolben. Also fuhr ich rechts ran, ließ den Motor abkühlen gab nen Schuss Zweitaktöl mehr in den Tank und wollte weiter. Trat den Kickstarter, nix mehr. Keine Kompression.
Irgendwas stimmt nicht.
Als ich den Vergaser aufmachte sah ich Metallspäne. Oh oh!
Dann nahm ich den Zylinderkopf runter und fand ein Loch im Kolben.
Zum Glück hatte ich einen Ersatzkolben und Ringe dabei, demontierte den Zylinder wofür man einiges anderes demontieren muss und wechselte den Kolben. Nach 4h lief sie wieder!
I was in the middle of the desert. 100km in each direction was just sand. Cruising speed, I wasnt that fast, suddenly the piston was glueing. I stoped by the side of the road, gave the engine 15 minutes to cool down, put some extra two-stroke-oil to the gas and want to start again. I kicked the starter but nothing happend. There was no compression. Something was wrong.
When I opened the caburator I saw metalgrains. Ops.
I opened the cylinderhead and found a hole in the piston. Luckily I had a spear-piston and rings in my luggage. So I removed the cylinder and all parts I had to remove for this job and changed the piston. It cost me almost 4 hours, but the engine was running again.

Mein Schrauberglück hielt nicht lange nach 50km blieb sie wieder stehen...
Unglaublich aber der neue Kolben ist auch durchgebrannt!
Just 50km later the engine was stopping again. Unbelieveable but the new piston hat a f****** hole again!
Ich wurde von der Polizei abgeschleppt, zu dieser Bude wo ich mein Zelt aufschlug denn es war mitlerweile dunkel.

Lambayeque ist auch keine Schönheit, aber das war mir egal es gab ein Hostal und ein Internet.

In Lambayeque gibt es die ältesten und unerforschtesten Ausgrabungen der Inkas, aber auf diesen Gehirnteil parkte grad die Vespa. Hatte ich echt keinen Kopf für.
In Lambayeque are the oldest ruins from the inca culture, they almost know nothing about them. But I had really other things in my mind..
Ein Transportunternehen konnte ich ausfindig machen und ließ die Vespa mit dem LKW und mich mit dem Bus die 800km nach Lima kutschieren.
I found a spedition and my Vespa was going via truck and I was going with a bus 800km 500miles to Lima
Sieht lustig aus, von weiten sehen die Mototaxis aus wie Pferdekutschen ohne Pferde.
Looks funny, the mototaxis look like horsecars without horses.

Lima heißt auf einer Inkasprache "Gelbe Blume" was bestimmt der Grund für die vielen gelben Häuser ist. Vielleicht meinten Sie auch nur den Sand ringsum Lima?!
Lima means in an inca-language "Yellow-flower" what is maybe the reason why you find a lots yellow houses. Or they just mean the sand
arround the capital.
